Well, it appears that a photo that I took in June 2006 has finally made it around the globe. Happy Toast, a UK website has put their stamp on a cute little image of mine — one of my “Rufus the Squirrel” photos turned to an animation.
…and their creation below…

Giuliani Linked to NAFTA Trans-Texas Corridor project

While Giuliani Reaffirms his Pro-Choice Stance on Abortion, he has been involved much more questionable and downright objectionable…associations:
The August Review – Giuliani Linked to “NAFTA Superhighway” — Brit Hume said on the Fox News Sunday program that it is possible that Republican frontrunner Rudy Giuliani could overcome his convoluted posturing on abortion and secure the Republican presidential nomination in 2008. But Giuliani has some other major problems. These include foreign clients, one of whom is constructing part of the “NAFTA Superhighway” project that has people in Texas and around the nation up in arms.
…
Evidence shows that NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement involving the U.S., Canada and Mexico, is being expanded without congressional approval or oversight as part of a plan to create an economic and political entity known as the North American Union NAU. Federal documents uncovered by Judicial Watch quote participants in the scheme as saying that an “evolution by stealth” strategy is being used to put the pieces into place. Documents also speak of developing a common security perimeter and a common identification card for citizens of the three countries.
Every single Conservative American citizen should be aware that although Giuliani has some noble traits with the whole “America’s Mayor” thing during the 911 incident, I hesitate to call him the material so desperately sought after for consideration to the highest office in the land, perhaps the world.
Giuliani’s recent pro-abortion speech left many saying,
“Overall, I thought it was a great speech,” said Erik Mignault, a 25-year-old political science major. “I think it was a good political stance to take. He’s sitting right in the middle.”
Now, I ask you… do you want a candidate, much less a President that has abhorred abortion all his life, but now finds himself much more comfortable with the position of killing of unborn babies when faced with unwaning publicity? Right down the middle tries to satisfy everyone and satisfies no one at the same time. That’s my take on the matter.
Imus isn’t the real bad guy

I’m not a fan of Don Imus, and I haven’t listened to his radio show that often over the years, but honestly, this story is such a waste of type and ink in the op-ed columns of every newspaper across this country.
Jason Whitlock, columnist for the Kansas City Star wrote that, “Instead of wasting time on irrelevant shock jock, black leaders need to be fighting a growing gangster culture.”
This is moronic to throw Don Imus on the sword when many other public figures have said what I consider to be worse and got by scott free. This is like blaming the gun for going off when there was a person pulling the trigger. Or like suing, in a court of law, the hamburger, shake and french fried potatoes when the overweight kid ate so many that now he has malfunctioning organs and only three to six months to live.
Imus isn’t the real bad guy — Thank you, Don Imus. You’ve given us (black people) an excuse to avoid our real problem. You’ve given Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson another opportunity to pretend that the old fight, which is now the safe and lucrative fight, is still the most important fight in our push for true economic and social equality.
You’ve given Vivian Stringer and Rutgers the chance to hold a nationally televised recruiting celebration expertly disguised as a news conference to respond to your poor attempt at humor.
Thank you, Don Imus. You extended Black History Month to April, and we can once again wallow in victimhood, protest like it’s 1965 and delude ourselves into believing that fixing your hatred is more necessary than eradicating our self-hatred.
The bigots win again.
While we’re fixated on a bad joke cracked by an irrelevant, bad shock jock, I’m sure at least one of the marvelous young women on the Rutgers basketball team is somewhere snapping her fingers to the beat of 50 Cent’s or Snoop Dogg’s or Young Jeezy’s latest ode glorifying nappy-headed pimps and hos.
I ain’t saying Jesse, Al and Vivian are gold-diggas, but they don’t have the heart to mount a legitimate campaign against the real black-folk killas.
I’ve maintained through this whole ordeal that blaming Don Imus for the entire blow-up is rediculous, when he was just pretending to be the whole “hip, with it, urban” guy with the lingo of the street. This is the same exact words that many young, urban black Americans say to each other day in and day out. Why is Don Imus saying what is commonplace among rap singers and young folks any different?
Any heaven forbid that there’s another scandal so race-baiters Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton can cash in on hearing their own voices on all the tv news programs and tell all of Americans just how needed they are to keep the “man” from oppressing the helpless black populace in the USA. Jackson and Sharpton are such a morally repugnant element that keeps the true survival spirit of Black America dependent on their brand of stupid rhetoric.
Syrian terrorist leaders say Pelosi visit ‘brave’

WorldNetDaily article on Nancy Pelosi’s recent “unauthorized” visit to Syria:
WorldNetDaily: Syrian reformers say Pelosi visit ‘chilling’ — “For Nancy Pelosi to cajole with Assad who has facilitated the killing of American soldiers is a travesty,” declared the Reform Party of Syria, a U.S.-based opposition party to the Assad regime that says it formed as a result of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
My sentiments, exactly.
The article goes on to say, The party said it “wants to remind all the Democrats in Congress what Assad has been up to in building terrorist bases in Syria.”
While many Democrats are aware, because of the intelligence they receive, the U.S. public has not been informed Assad has built four different bases in Syria to train terrorists to send them to Iraq, the statement said.
