New ‘Bible’: Heterosexuality is sin — There is now a bible that states that heterosexuality is sin? Wow, when the Lord said there would be “strong delusion”, He wasn’ kidding. But this is seriously ridiculous!

I would offer this passage:

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 (KJV) — 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

It is the hallmark trait of every future-oriented civilization to train up the next generation with the values learned from the last. There is an exhortation in the book of Proverbs that reads,

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” –Proverbs 22:6

Have we come so far in this grand experiment called America that we have forgotten the ways of our grandfathers? Have we progressed so far from the ideals and conventions from the days of old? Why is the old path synonymous with obsolescence? Why must technology and modernity equal the eradication of all faith and morality? The self-serving laws of man have made us lazy and greedy. We must know — how could we expect anything less — that the darkness of our thoughts and deeds will inevitably condemn future generations to a dimly lit future, as well.

Michelle Malkin: STONED FOR PREACHING AGAINST ISLAM — Thank you Michelle for posting this story. Indignation (righteous or otherwise) rises up within my gut when I hear such cowardly disregard for what is right. In today’s world, right is wrong, good is bad, black is white, and also what is Christian is Muslim and that is no joke. Nearly the whole world has such blatant lack of respect for one another any more. However, it seems that Islam (and radical, militant and fanatical Islam, at that) is the new sacred cow. My, my…how far we have digressed as a people.

A central Florida artist has been told his childhood memories, depicted in paintings, are “too religious” to be displayed in his hometown.

Paintings by artist Lloyd Marcus have been banned from being exhibited during a Black History Month display in Deltona, Fla., an Orlando suburb, because some of the paintings contain “Christian symbols” that reflect the artist’s memories of his childhood at his dad’s storefront church.

The world community could care less about the feelings of Christians who have endured slanderous articles, statements from public figures, movies or comic strips that paint Jesus Christ and the Bible or its principles in a highly unflattering manner. But let one Danish newspaper run a cartoon in which Islam is “toyed” with…and out come the Kalishnikovs, national flags are burned, weeping and wailing and general gnashing of teeth commences. What a bunch of selfish, narcissistic, spoiled little children. And we’re now supposed to believe they can carry on as a civilized nation state? Look what happened…they elected a Terrorist organization to power, they can’t handle criticism of their religion, they’re a bunch of uncivilized brats.

Don’t like what I say? Then grow up!

Here’s a recent case of hate speech legislation run amok!

Swedish Pastor Defends Anti-Gay Sermon | STOCKHOLM, Sweden — A Pentecostal pastor charged with hate speech for denouncing homosexuality as a “cancerous tumor” defended his views in Sweden’s highest court Wednesday, saying gay sex was an abnormality on a par with pedophilia. Ake Green, 64, delivered a fiery anti-gay sermon two years ago that triggered a legal battle testing the limits of Sweden’s freedom of speech.

Green told the Supreme Court that his sermon was meant to warn gays that their lifestyle will result in an “eternal divorce” from God. “If two men sleep with each other, or if two women do so, it is abnormal, just like pedophilia,” Green said in his testimony. Audio broadcasts from the much-awaited hearing were carried live on nationwide TV, which is unusual in Sweden. The hearing was expected to last one day, but a ruling could take several weeks. Green became the first clergyman convicted under Sweden’s hate crimes legislation, which was modified in 2003 to include attacks against homosexuals. An appeals court overturned the ruling earlier this year, but Sweden’s chief prosecutor appealed the acquittal at the Supreme Court.

The problem with this is that there’s no human alive under any government that doesn’t have the right not to be “offended” or “insulted”. If I called someone stupid, should I go to jail on charges of hate speech? Rev. Green, who preached this sermon, preached on homosexuality’s ultimate “end”. The end is complete divorce from a Holy and sinless God. It’s the practice that God calls abomination…not those who choose to practice it. It’s not the “people” who are abominable, but rather the act. Several times in the Bible, Jesus said things similar to “go thy way and sin no more” or “turn away from their wicked ways”. God loves each and every person who is homosexual, but weeps for them for their sins. This story illustrates the tragedy that is our current social state of the world — as it was in the day of Sodom and Gomorrah, it will be in the day of the coming of the Lord.

2 Peter 2:6 — “And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;”

Jude 1:7 — “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

Those who pick and choose a little religion here and there from this and from that will one day see the error of their ways.
