While Giuliani Reaffirms his Pro-Choice Stance on Abortion, he has been involved much more questionable and downright objectionable…associations:
The August Review – Giuliani Linked to “NAFTA Superhighway” — Brit Hume said on the Fox News Sunday program that it is possible that Republican frontrunner Rudy Giuliani could overcome his convoluted posturing on abortion and secure the Republican presidential nomination in 2008. But Giuliani has some other major problems. These include foreign clients, one of whom is constructing part of the “NAFTA Superhighway” project that has people in Texas and around the nation up in arms.
…
Evidence shows that NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement involving the U.S., Canada and Mexico, is being expanded without congressional approval or oversight as part of a plan to create an economic and political entity known as the North American Union NAU. Federal documents uncovered by Judicial Watch quote participants in the scheme as saying that an “evolution by stealth” strategy is being used to put the pieces into place. Documents also speak of developing a common security perimeter and a common identification card for citizens of the three countries.
Every single Conservative American citizen should be aware that although Giuliani has some noble traits with the whole “America’s Mayor” thing during the 911 incident, I hesitate to call him the material so desperately sought after for consideration to the highest office in the land, perhaps the world.
Giuliani’s recent pro-abortion speech left many saying,
“Overall, I thought it was a great speech,” said Erik Mignault, a 25-year-old political science major. “I think it was a good political stance to take. He’s sitting right in the middle.”
Now, I ask you… do you want a candidate, much less a President that has abhorred abortion all his life, but now finds himself much more comfortable with the position of killing of unborn babies when faced with unwaning publicity? Right down the middle tries to satisfy everyone and satisfies no one at the same time. That’s my take on the matter.
