In a global instance of “keeping up with the Joneses”, the top leaders of Canada, the USA and Mexico thought they had it all figured out — we’ll form a union of North American nations and we can compete economically, geopolitically as well as militarily with the European powerhouse, the European Union. A few things, however, seem to have thrown a monkey wrench in the master plan…that is convincing the citizens to go along with this consolidation, the morphing of the United States of America into a new regional power house — The North American Union, where the natural fit of the US Constitution, and Bill of Rights is immediately questioned on the basis of relevancy and pitted against that sacred cow, International Law.

In addition to convincing a 300-million man citizenry of the US, tens of millions of citizens from Canada and Mexico will have to agree to have their identities and their citizenships re-defined. What a daunting and Orwellian thought!

Well, this futuristic, post-apocalyptic scenario is about to take place without a groundswell of opposition from citizens in all three countries. From the Palestine Herald, in an article entitled “Real ID creates a national ID“, columnist Wayne Stewart writes:

It’s easy to push aside singular news reports that point to the establishment of a super state comprised of Canada, Mexico and the United States, but when all of the available information is taken in its totality, the rise of the North American Union appears to be nearly a done deal.

So, again…it’s going to happen unless the citizenry rise up and wrest the power from this government driven by a global madness. What could have been going through the minds of our elected representatives for actually buying into this lunacy? Why would we give up our liberty and our freedoms to be controlled by a national database that comprises every citizen in America as well as Canada and Mexico’s unwashed masses. We are going to be controlled. Who do you wish to control you — an elected official with some slight sense of duty to his constituents or a monolithic governmental machine? And remember this… ultimate control over a people is the exact opposite opposite of liberty and freedom.

What? You don’t think this is going to happen?

According to the same article,

The PACT Act, which was introduced by US Representatives Louise Slaughter and John McHugh in February would require the United States and Canada to develop identical documents for use under Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI).

With Real ID and WHTI, mechanisms are being put into place that would allow U.S. and Canadian officials free access to each country’s identification databases.

What? You didn’t believe me? It would behoove each and every citizen to learn more about the Real ID Act and the WHTI now before you find yourself on the pointy end of a North American Union cattle prod.
