Doh! Will Someone please slap me??

Okay. I knew not to do it. I really did. It was late in the wee hours of the morning (just a few minutes ago) and I was clearing out some old, useless tables in my Blog database (tables from another web application) and the absolutely unthinkable happened: I accidentally deleted my entire database! Aaarrgh! < --- blood curdling, gut-wrenching scream.

I’m absolutely sick. I’m absolutely sick to my stomach. I had about two months of unbacked up blogging posts that are completely gone.

So… we live and learn. I hope my hosting provider makes backups…

    I know you are dismayed about this, but life is all about rebirth. Think about where you’ll be after you come through this: thanking God. Not such a bad place to be.

    I hope you’re right, Mike. I lost oodles of un-retrievable content. But I do have some articles archived and will be in the process of “re-birthing” some of them when I get the chance.

    In the mean time, there’s lots of news happening, so I imagine that there will be tons of posts coming.
